We are Abigail, Jamie, Sheryl, Stacy and Ying Xia from 3A3 of PLMGSS, and we are a group of students embarking on a project in hope of raising awareness for the children from dysfunctional families :)

Rationale
ESPERANZA is Spanish for hope. :) By naming our project and group name Esperanza, we want to bring hope and inspiration to the children who are less fortunate than us. Through our small acts of kindness, we hope that it will impact them greatly and that they may have newfound hope in their lives!

Many of us come from complete families where we are showered with love from our parents and family members, without having to worry about being abused. Have you ever wondered how life is like for a child who comes from a dysfunctional family? Well, these thoughts may not have crossed your mind. Therefore, through the videos, pictures, designed activities and campaigns, we hope that you will learn more about the lives of these children and show your support by being empathetic towards them through our blog and Facebook page! :)
